One of the popular places to visit in Tokyo is Ghibli Museum.

There are so many Ghibli fans in Japan and all over the world. This popular museum is located in Mitaka city, Tokyo.
As you can imagine, it is difficult to purchase tickets even in Japan. For the tourists from overseas, Ghibli tickets up to three months ahead are sold in some countries from the 1st of every month. Many tourists, we met, said it is difficult to buy the tickets since the number of tickets sold in overseas are very few.
In Japan, we can purchase tickets, up to one month ahead, only by Loppi ticketing machine at LAWSON (convenience store), from 10AM of the 10th of every month. For example, reserved tickets for March is started to be sold from 10th of February.
If you decide to go to Ghibli museum during your trip, ask your friends or host before 10th of the previous month you plan to visit! Mark the 10th on your calendar, do not miss the chance to feel Ghibli world in Japan!
