One of the easiest ways to access to middle of Tokyo is taking The Access Narita bus from the airport. It is only 1000 JPY per person, no need to make reservations. You just go to the bus stop directly, and buy tickets there.
The bus takes you to Tokyo station, where you can take Shinkansen. Or to Ginza station, where you can connect to Tokyo Metro.
